50% off Rogers Value Packs until April 3rd, 2012 They have a promotion going on right now where you can add the listed Value Packs for 50% off the regular price for however long you have service with them. Click on the Value Packs tab on the left side: http://www.rogers.com/web/Rogers.por...bel=AppsAddons You have to call in to get it. Best way is to dial in with your phone and use option 4, 1, 4 to reach the retentions department. Be aware that the plans that list US & International text messages to NOT include Canadian text messages, so you probably don’t want those. However, they have a few other options that aren’t listed there, which include unlimited Canadian text messages, but no US & International text messages, and this is probably what you would want. I added it last night, and this is what I get for my iPhone: $10.40 for unlimited Canadian text (including picture/MMS), call display with name display, visual voicemail, and ringbacks. You should get the first month free as well. |
I posted this in the Retentions thread already, I can confirm that it will be 50% off for as long as you keep it. |
This is sneaky move by Rogers but it works with some people e.g. Old $20 VP (you could get it for $14 if you call retention) - the old $20 VP includes Unli TXT World Wide including MMS compare to the new one 20.94 which include either Unli CA or International. but if your in an old VP which is $12 its a good move you gain more in paying $2 less |
My old retentions value pack was: $10 for 2500 Canadian text, caller display with name display, and voicemail. I really wanted visual voicemail, but there was no retentions value pack that included it for a good price... so basically I'm paying 40¢/month more just for visual voicemail. But given that I should get one month free, I'll be ahead until after two years. |
