The lunch time turnouts on non-holidays are pretty bad. There's usually a group of 3-4 regulars that go and the rest is hit or miss. Majority of the time it turns into a stick and puck session.

Their night sessions were much better but they are rare to come by. They also have a problem with people signing up over the phone and not showing up. I remember one ice time they had FOUR goalies signed up and three no showed.

Count me in! I'm still a beginner though :)

holy fuck i paid $16.50 for drop in at the oval plus $2 parking. no wonder no one goes there

i found the oval to be awful, really hot in my gear, and its a maze to find the changing rooms if its your first time.

I'd come out to Burnaby to play goal for you guys during the week.

Or better yet come out to Langley and play. We have 5 rinks with drop in between 11:30 and noon. Competition is always good, goalies always show up, people are nice and you always get at least one current/ former pro out there.
