For those of you who missed the show, or wants a recap. =D

I apologize for some shaky hand held footage, there was too many people, so I couldn't get some shots as well as I'd liked. But hopefully you guys enjoy none-the-less

Altoids94 04-10-2012 02:33 PM

I was impressed that Chevy let people sit in the ZR1, I was pretty stoked on that.

LP700-4 04-10-2012 02:44 PM

It had a decent interior. Pretty comfortable aswell. Only trouble was when i realized i spent 30 seconds looking for a door handle when there was a nice big button on the door.

TopsyCrett 04-10-2012 03:38 PM

I noticed a woman reporter going around pointing out some styling cues of new models... :seriously: Had a camera 'crew'... I think it might've been one of those independent car reviewers like auto123 and roadflytv etc. on youtube. If any of you happen to come across it post it up hahaha. Pretty sure I'm in the background and I wtfed.

Sky_High 04-10-2012 08:10 PM

Does anyone know what's the name of that booth...that sells car licence plates / frames / metal signs?

And if they operate a local store anywhere in the city?

The ZR1 was my favourite at the show, the day i went i saw lot more people surrounding it than any other super car. :fuckyea:

No kidding, fuck the Vancouver Auto Show. Even a Mazda3 was locked up :rukidding:

At the Toronto one last year I got to sit in an R8.

belaud 04-10-2012 11:02 PM

I could not believe it when they had the Z35 & M5 locked, I was looking forward to sitting in one!

HondaGuy 04-11-2012 12:45 AM

Anyone notice the Acura ILX sedan? Couldnt get a good look of interior. Possibly replacement of the CSX/EL?

It is the CSX replacement, and yet again a souped up Civic. Interior's not too shabby though, imo.

Sky_High 04-11-2012 02:10 AM

Size wise...its more in between a Civic/CSX and a TSX.

Saw it, it looks so..... bland. I was with the girlfriend, and she said she would not buy any of the new Acuras cause they look so cheap, might as well save the 5-10k and just buy a Civic.

donjalapeno 04-11-2012 08:53 AM

i would buy the TL and the RL but the MDX uses this god awful plastic around the doors thats pisses me off ( they were already scratched to shit because of people getting in and out.) and the new RDX looks like turd too.

lol, really? Good eye. Yeah, I went on Thursday, 1pm - 4pm. I was shooting with GoPros.

Nabatron 04-11-2012 09:43 AM

all the acura stuff is all old man style doesnt look nice at all IMO.

1exotic 04-11-2012 09:55 AM

show was really bad, half of surrey showed up, I swear all the cars lost over 50% value just from the kind of people who sat in them.
can see all those cars luxury or exotic cars that were there on the streets anyways.

Europlateconcepts.com is the website or you can contact Darren at acrodyne manufacturing.

you just needed to ask, and they opened the door for ppl who were interested in buying.

HondaGuy 04-11-2012 03:04 PM

Yah, we'll have to see how the ILX hold up when released. Such a short time for the CSX, I think theres a few nice jdm themed csx on RS.

The acura tsx aspec already had a tear in the driver seat bolster, the MDX driver door panel (speaker kick pod) was all scratched and torn while people exiting, and the worst was when the white benz sedan (forgot what model, should be S or E) next to the entrance...the right rear door plastic black trim piece broke off and stuck out on the side, ppl just kept opening/closing the door like nothing.

Told the rep, but he said ok, we will get it fixed

I did ask, I got a whole hearted "haha, move along son" :rukidding:

The worse was Ford when I asked to sit in the GT500, "Aren't you too young to try these cars? Theres a fiesta over there!"

I feel like I'm in Richmond Subaru all over again :fullofwin:
