now im curious how they built the car, all the other information seems pretty accurate. ive been avoiding this show because it sounds so hokey but i gotta admit, its pretty damn good... does that now make me a fanboy?

Burned myself a CD with all these Initial D tracks when I was 17 and driving an MR2 (AW11, had the same 4A-GE as the AE86).

I'm 25 now and still keep that same CD in my S2000. Still play it when I go for a drive, and still roll up the windows and turn down the volume every time I pull up to a red light :lol

For those with Xbox 360, download the “Crackle” app (its free) they have every episode for the main series on it. I believe crackle is available on PC as well, I only use in my xbox myself.

Funny this post came up. I found Initial D on crackle about a week ago, and started watching from the beginning again. I watched them years ago, and have been waiting for stage 5 since about 2007…….Still waiting.

I also forgot how screwed up some of the sub plots were with some of the girl characters. No spoilers, but um, WTF Japan?

Yeah the cartoon ended in 2006. Cant remember when the live action movie was done, but it was surprisingly good as well.

I have read they are currently filming the second one now.
