The Grandmasters 一代宗师 stars Tony Leung Looks good.. Tony Leung is such a good actor... |
Tony Leung is definitely a good actor but I can't really picture him in this martial arts super ass-kicking role ... it's more of a Donnie Yen role lol ... |
what da heck is Tony Leung doing in a Martial Art movie.......awwwww...... |
Ive been a big fan of Tony Leung since i was a little kid (his police cadet tvb show) but i dunno the trailer seems kind of lame I've no real qualms of course but it still seems weird seeing him in a film like this as we've become so used to him doing dramas What's odd though is he broke his arm during training for this movie but this was back in 2009! surprised the film has taken so long to come out |
isn't that just the Matrix scene but with chinese people? |
no man he's wearing a white hat, totally different :derp: |
So is this another Yip Man movie? Want to watch anyway. |
you guys are missing the point it's the first major wong kar wai movie in a while but it's also the only movie where christopher doyle isnt the cinematographer. lol we'll have to see if those two working together makes a big diff or if it's only wong kar wai. and wong kar wai's movies are almost always deeper almost artsy and not very actiony. |
was never a fan of wong kar wai he just makes stylistic pornos ;) and they're all pretty much the same; hell even his american movie was the same (blueberry nights) now that i think about it... grandmasters is probably going to be a kung-fu porno |

i only like days of being wild/mood for love/2046/chungking/fallen angels. lol thats about it. and they're almost all the same type of movie hahaha |
hmm, kung fu porno |
i use to love wong kar wai cuz the fact that i that was the only porno has then i was a kid, just like wong jing's movies :alone: but this movie just seems odd & strange as tony leung is in it & its not the 1st time i have seen him in kung fu action movies, but he just look so out of place (like tom hanks in da vinci code & any dan brown book thats in to a movie) |
