i can get you guys Vinyl if you need it, to wrap a whole car is about 400-500$ ( for matte colors, oh yeah, they come in colors, imported from France since that shit doesnt exist in North America) Hell, my car was unique in all of BC until a guy in a M3 saw my car and wrapped it the same color.. :(

rice cooker 04-09-2012 06:16 PM

its cheap, a waste of time and looks absolutely retarded

TurboFC3S 04-09-2012 06:30 PM

^^ Agreed!

matte black wrap is a good way to make your nice car look worthless.. only very few cars can pull it off and still look good imo.

rJZx 04-09-2012 07:09 PM

^Some quality wraps look pretty nice.... matte black is just tacky nowadays.

i'm sure the ACTUAL owners disagree :)

and yes, the american vinyl is gardbage, which is why the real shit, where it started in the first place ,comes from germany or france.

you're 100% correct about the "very few cars can pull it off" part.
i've seen supercars that looked like kit cars after a crappy wrap, but i've also seen cars that were completely changed by it, so it depends on what car its going on.Generally, newer cars are going to pul it off much easier than older cars.

rJZx 04-09-2012 07:17 PM

^Im sure all the MM customers would disagree but just look at their cars

Gridlock 04-10-2012 08:27 AM

I want matte red. Unfortunately, it would fade into matte pink...which wouldn't look as good.

Psykopathik 04-10-2012 09:22 AM

matte wrap. make an ugly car, uglier.

if you don't own a supercar, you can't pull it off.

its like Brad Pit's messy haircut. good looking guy bad hairdo. still looks good.

a hot pr0nstar. you can cover her in cow shit and you'd still want to fuck her.

Civics and Cavaliers need not apply. don't fool yourself. you can say shit about how its your car and how original you are, but its still looks like shit.

What's a good brand for wraps, I see 3m, hexis, and oracal from eBay. I heard oracal stuff is bad. What's about the others? I'm planning to get some gloss black to make my car 2tone

asian_XL 04-19-2012 10:24 PM

$400 for material? that's bullshit. Where did you get your vinyl from?
my cousin wrapped his Toyota Previa in Matte White, $50 for the vinyl (ordered it online, probably made in China vinyl, but the quality is great), $25 for the tools, $35 for the heat gun.

Anyone interested to wrap my car in green? No matte sh!t !

niu99 04-20-2012 10:34 AM

Get French made vinyl. They are best.

kwy 04-20-2012 11:40 AM

There's 2 kinds of cars that can pull it off..old school muscle cars and some newer high end exotics. Even then, it's pretty played out.

Where can I get the vinyl, all I see are 60" by 60".

Culverin 04-27-2012 01:00 PM

Do any of the companies make like a pearl white?
Looking to wrap my bike.

Benz_05TSX 06-01-2012 05:44 PM

Hexis offers a large variety of color choices. I just looked through my sample set, and I don't see one that is exactly Pearl White. There are a few that are similar to Pearl white. Have a look at their color chart on site, or if you have any questions, you can PM me.
