Hey guys, great meet. I just wanted to say that people should give an extra big hand to bcrdukes for taking the lead on this meet, setting up the time & place, and contacting the police so we wouldn't have any problems. He also went out of his way to reach out to other clubs and find prizes to give away, and worked selflessly to make this thing go off without a hitch. For those of you who showed up, thank you. It was great to see people pointing at each other's nametags and saying "Hey! Good to finally meet you!" That is the spirt in which these meets were created. Next time we're going to have enough nametags for everyone, and they're going to be manditory. Big thanks to Lomac for taking pics and videotaping the entire thing. Big thanks also to Jace for showing up with some merch so you guys can get hooked up with swag. And big thanks to the boss !SG for making an appearance. Hope you all had a great time and let us know what you liked, disliked, or would like to see in the future. |

Hey everyone! First and foremost - THANK YOU ALL! for coming out to tonight's meet despite the trivial weather and chilly winds. You were all on your best behaviour - true RevScene style and I really really really appreciate it! You all cleaned up after yourselves and nobody caused any problems which is awesome in my books. For what it's worth, I received a follow-up from Richmond RCMP's duty sergeant - he was impressed with how the meet went. You all deserve a pat on the back. Keep it up! :D Secondly - For all you newbies and stock car owners - I hope you all enjoyed your time at the meet and hopefully met some people. I have to apologize for the lack of name tags as I simply did not expect such a huge turn out! For those of you new to Revscene and/or don't have a username, I encourage you to register so that way we can all participate in the fun and games. Remember - those who had name tags were eligible for prizes tonight! And before I forget - congrats to all you prize winners! I hope you all enjoy them and make use of them! Prizes were donated in kind between myself, El Bastardo, The Seattle Puget Sound BMW Club / BMW Spec E30 Series, and BikeExif.com. I know they weren't anything special but hey, we all had a good time and some good laughs. :) Last but not least - Big thanks to our Administrators, jACE (and his lovely wife Cheryl) and !SG for their appearance tonight. Without the years of hard work and dedication of running Revscene and creating a community for us in Vancouver, we would not have had tonight's meet. Support your Revscene moderators and the Revscene Volunteer Fund by purchasing your RS Swag at the next upcoming meets! Most importantly, if any of you have any comments/questions/suggestions/concerns - please please please! send them to El Bastardo or myself or post them here.
