Skid plate in vancouver

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.

I'm looking to get a skid plate for my car (volkswagen ...)

Does anyone know where I can get one fabricated for a good price?
I'm trying to avoid using our good old government sidewalk signs and half-ass mounting solution.

Or

anyone know if someone is selling a skidplate for a 06-09 VW rabbit/jetta/gti? mk6 version works too.

my subframe has suffered a big hit from the amazing road we have here in vancouver.

Thanks!

This company is from BC and makes skidplates for VW and Audis. Not too sure if they have it for the newest VWs though. Perhaps give them a call.

Most will set you back at least 250. Metal and labour ain't cheap.

I know a few people that have managed to fabricate a skid plate themselves. One guy even made a custom one for his B6 A4 Avant that stuck out a little so it looked like he had an aluminum splitter.

Your best bet is to go straight to the source...an aluminum/metal fabricator.
