Do you intend on removing your fog lights?

Yes, for summer, and have them back in for winter.

skylinergtr 06-27-2012 09:52 PM

on my 5 series:

I was having a small rough idle (just on idle).

I was curiously looking around the engine bay and noticed something was off, and my EGR air pump was basically off its mounting bracket and somewhat dangling. Luckily it never hit the floor and get hit or anything.

Ordered some new rubber mounts to attach the air pump to its bracket (3 small mounts @ $21 each - ouch!). I needed a new EGR hose too, as the old one was basically disintegrated.

issue is fixed, and running smoothly for now :) Also my odometer rolled past 200,000kms.

You know when you're looking for something but you find something else that you've been looking for ages ago? Yeah that's what happened here.

Got my deductible waived, by catching the fuck who hit and ran my car! Body work time. :fullofwin: Since its gonna be in the shop and needs to get panels blended, I can pull the fenders FINALLY.

I figured out I had a radiator leak. Requested a qoute for a used radiator from a few spots since I can't locate the leak. I also adjusted the air intake. Seems there was a leak.

yogenfruz 06-28-2012 09:30 PM

Fresh oil thrown in. Nothing special. Also found out a speaker is blown last night, gonna get that fixed when I get some money.

proved that you can have the top down in the rain and stay dry if you maintain a certain speed. for this particular case, it was around 60km/h

mb_ 06-30-2012 07:22 PM
