Automotive spray paint

Besides lordco, anyone know any places that will make paint and put it in an aerosol spray can for a lower price then lordco? Called them and its about 40 a can.

VERY nice paint in a can lol they kept telling me how the paint might not match cause beige's are a pain to make but they did it and the bumper is turning out fine :fullofwin:

<3 concept finishes lulzz & paint was cheaper then lordco too by half :fullofwin:

sonick 04-18-2012 02:48 PM

Nice to hear it worked out. I painted the air dam on my car myself with paint from Concept Finishes and it turned out pretty well. Paint match wasn't exact but close enough.

It was ~$25 a can right?

G-spec 04-18-2012 03:01 PM

it's not just about proper paint match, it's also the amount of clearcoat and in other additives like pearls that they mix, that's why Lordco is $40 a can because their mixes are on point when it comes to all of those things. I've only used the Metrotown and Marine Dr location, both paint guys there are awesome and know their shit.
I've used them on about a dozen occasions for minor stuff like lips and addons and interior stuff, also headlights. It literally comes out looking like you used a spray gun, I don't know how but it's really quality mixes, I did use one of those custom spray can nozzles however that allow for better spraying.

this was done with a custom Lordco mix here, it looks like a base coat finished with clear doesn't it

Can Lordo put them in cans with this tip?
These fine mist tips are a lot easier to use and better finish.

Need to paint a front bumper lip, one can should be enough?

Sonick is correct. Concept finish is the one I was thinking of. I think the paint is call PGM.

They will match to automotive code, and have option of hardeners mixed it. Good for bumper skirts. My lip has held up well over many years of stone chips and abuse with hardener. Be sure to prep the surface and primer it.
