I know the owner doesn't care about the money value of the dog.
But that's an expensive beautiful dog for thieves.

^yeah even more valuable if its an intact male dog..
my frenchie almost got stolen right in front of my eyes at the dog park in broad daylight.

it was a lady with her toddler daughter...she literally carried my dog out..... when i noticed, i ran up and confronted her...i asked her "wtf are you doing with my dog"
she said "oops sorry, i thought your dog wanted to go for a swim with us at the creek over there"

:seriously:

too bad she was with her daughter....or she would have received a nice backhand to the face...fukken thieves

I'm the owner of this dog and I thank everyone for trying to help me find him! He has not been found yet so please keep looking. If you could help me share this on your facebook, twitter, anywhere I would really appreciate it. Someone has my dog and is trying to hide him from me .. but i'm determined to find him

The reason for no tags is because he is sick. Unfortunately he was born with a birth defect and he was already going through so much pain. The doctor told us to avoid using a collar on him because it makes it hard on his breathing and makes him choke.

asian_XL 05-07-2012 07:53 AM

if no tag, no collar, no chip, don't expect someone CAN return him to you.
I had 6 cats came to my house, some with no collar, can't really do shit about it but sending them to spca

impulseX 05-10-2012 02:33 PM

thats great news! :D

freakshow 05-10-2012 05:56 PM

Update: Rufus was found in a lady's backyard who said that she didn't go into the backyard much. When she called a guy to pressure wash her backyard (?? maybe the concrete?), he found him.

Here he is, happy at home:

I just realized its been almost an entire month since you first posted this thread. Your friend is super lucky to have him back! Poor little guy looks like he's lost a significant amount of weight but at least he's home now

Ronin 05-10-2012 07:08 PM

Yay! That's such a freakin' cute dog.

chickennuggets 05-10-2012 07:23 PM

Thank you so much everyone for helping me!! I'm so happy to have him home.

InvisibleSoul 05-11-2012 09:59 AM

Oh, if only he could speak, the stories he would tell of where he's been and what he's done in the past three weeks.

Pretty incredible he managed to survive out there and be found after so long.

Good for him!

dinosaur 05-11-2012 10:49 PM

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!! :tears: so much joy!!

Selanne_200 05-13-2012 11:29 AM

Wow, That's an awesome ending. My dog went missing for 2 hours and I spent the entire 2 hours walking/running/driving looking for him, so can't imagine what you went through during that 3 weeks.

Death2Theft 05-13-2012 03:07 PM

I recommend tracking collars on all dogs until they hit the age of 2.
