Any 2012 Honda Accord Coupe or Crosstour owners here that can chime in? Sup guys. Just wondering if anyone owns one of the following vehicles: 2012 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L 4cylinder 2012 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6 2012 Honda Crosstour Just wanted to get a rough estimate on your guys' fill ups from empty, and how many km's you generally get from every day driving. the accord V6 and the crosstour share the same engine so i assume mileage will be similar Thanks guys |
I don't have any info on any of those questions but being Revscene and everyone giving their personal input if you like it or not :) I think the Crosstour is a pretty ugly car. I was reading online about the V6 coupe and how it goes into gas saving mode with less cylinders so you don't always have all that power available to you. This is for the automatic only. The Crosstour has a 4wd option so that will eat up more gas. |
If your looking to buy id say hold out for the 2013's better fuel economy the v6 get a six speed along with other various improvements. |
I own a 2008 Honda accord exl i4 sedan. Same body as the 2008. At $1.45/L I gas up when light comes on (60L) cost me approx $87-$92 And the range is approx 580-630km on the 60L The v6 I heard only gets around 500km on full tank! The 2012 has the same body as 2008-2011 so I think LsquareD can chime in since he own a v6 coupe! |

Honda Accord MPG Reports | Fuelly And I 100% agree that the Crosstour is a sinfully ugly looking car. |
Wait....Honda dealerships still carry those fucking Crosstours???? :rukidding: |
08 V6 get around 400 to 450 km on full tank all city driving and light foot. Auto = super slow |

Holy s*it, you're still alive! I can't comment on the F/E, but my friend has a 2009 v6 spd coupe with over 130,000kms. It's been super reliable for him. |
crosstours are ugly my gf's dad has a 2010 v6 sedan he get's about 500-520 a tank, 60% highway, 40% city |
too_slow: hah yea I'm alive! Lol. And thanks for the input everyone. I agree, the crosstour is weird looking I'm considering a new car later this year in the fall Im able to get a real cheap lease on a Honda or Acura and have been considering the accord or crosstour. I'm actually leaning towards a crosstour just cus it fits what I'm looking for: awd leather interior 4 doors (altho 2dr is fine) lots of trunk space Getting older has made me gay with bad style taste I know :) |
Wooot! They're not too TOO ugly. I mean, with the HFP wheels, I guess this looks OK. http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....onceptlive.jpg Have you considered the Toyota Venza? I think the MPG's are a bit worst but I think it looks quite a bit better. If you're leaning towards the Accord, the Accord EX V6's interior makes a difference with the active-noise cancellation. It rides quieter than the I4. |

here's the thing gas milage will depend on the person thats driving and the route for example I had a 99 accord v6 and a 03 accord with a 4 banger both of the cars are similar in weight and I daily both cars with the exact route. I never got more than 400 before the low light came on. I only drive it in city and I always go up to metro so hills are plenty. On the highway tho I did notice my 04 being slightly better getting something close to 600-650 on a tank. So it really depends on driving style and place. In my experience with accords I drove the 09 4 banger ex-l (190hp) and 09 v6 (270hp) the v6 was nicer the active noise cancelation did help and you can hear a difference. |
Even the ugliest car can look nice :P Check out this accord crosstour with Vossen wheels: The other car i'm also considering is the Acura ILX when it comes out june... |
2008 Accord V6 Coupe owner here. I get about ~450km with mostly highway driving. |
my 07 EX-L V6 was getting 350-400 city driving :( |
my 07 currently is getting about 450-500KM per tank all city I don't know about the accord comparing to the cross tour, but isn't it a bit heavier? If you don't need that extra space, the accord is mid-sized so it would be fine if you don't carry stuff like hockey bags or golf set. depending on where/how you drive as well. If you take highway often, a V6 sedan would be the better choice. If you are only going city, I'd personally take the I4 sedan. |
my recently acquired 03 v6 auto coupe is doing 12L/100km all city. not bad. my old 03 v6 6spd was only a bit better doing 11L/100km |
