Getting windows tinted - any knowledge of reputable dealers would be appreciated

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get my IS250's windows tinted. I want to get all 4 passenger windows in addition to the back window, but apparently it's illegal to tint the driver and passenger windows (can i get a confirmation on this?) so I've decided to tint the back 3 for now.

As stated in the title, I would be most appreciative if I could get some referrals from you guys for a reputable detailing shop. I want it done well, so quality > money, but not to a degree where I'm paying unreasonable amounts (unreasonable being anything >$100 per window). Preferably located in Richmond since that's where I reside. Thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing your suggestions!

yes tinting front is illegal.
Check out sponsors for window tint.
Or do a search this subject has been covered many times

Yea front window tint is illegal but if you REALLY want to get it, try to go for light tint like 50%. This is how it looks...

And remember to program your head to lower your windows when you see a cop car around, even if it rains or shines (or snows). Why? lowering one of your front windows will add more light (even on a cloudy day) in your vehicle and make it look like you don't have front tint. Your car might get a bit wet inside if its raining but at least you would have saved yourself a fine and a penalty. Works for one of my buddies and he's had his car tinted for years. Ultimately though to save yourself the hassle and stress, its better to just tint the three back windows or no tint at all.

I know it's not Richmond but go with N-motion (Boundary/Lougheed)- very good quality and got everything done very fast! I dropped it off in the morning, had a lunch at Metrotown, and picked up my car afterwards

yao bong in richmond

No issues w/ NMotion on Boundary and http://go.to/tinting in E.Van

BTW, if quality is more important than cost (to a degree), it should also be more important than location/service.

We do tinting in Richmond.

It's considered a 5 window tint. Your rear doors have 2 windows per door.

Approx $180 for 3M tint

PM if you're interested.

Nmotion does great job, I know the guys in the back and they take their workmanship professionally.

If mobile, larry lee does great job, did my work van years ago and had no bubbles, think I have his number if needed.
