A client of mine had TMJ dysfunction. I believe the name of the doctor he saw for it was Dr. Sujay Mehta.

See a neuromuscular dentist. NMD, I think. Google it for a directory.

If you're lazy.. well then go see
Dr. Wilson Kwong at Oakridge Centre Mall.

My last GF had TMJ big time, we fucked around with lots of doctors, dental surgeons and other random specialists until we found Dr.Ara Elmajian. He seemed a bit out there to me with all the natural path this and that, and he's not cheap, but it was the only thing that helped, and she has progressively gotten better and better.

I would try to look at the source of the TMJD problem first.

What caused it? Trauma to the head? Dental problems e.g. bite? Stress and poor sleep? You'd have to investigate it and piece out a solution for yourself.

If you don't want to fork out $$ immediately to a NMD, then try seeing a reliable Chinese Acupuncturist for several sessions. There are tonnes around. How you tell if they are reliable or not is observing their patient load. If the clinic is busy, and the acupuncturist is going from room to room treating patients back to back, then thats the one people trust and WORKS. If you go to a clinic that has 1 patient per half a day, then chances are that acupuncturist is not that good and people don't go back. best of luck
