not a bad time to switch to telus' new 50mbps down 10 up connection.
it's sustained unlike shaw and it's possible to get better than advertised speeds....best of all caps are not enforced. Telus 50Mb internet is available - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums | |

I can get a sustained 50mbps connection from Shaw and it hardly ever goes down

reason why some sites are working fast and others arent has to do with which servers your connections are going through
@Leetastic you should def call in and let them know, see what they can do because they dont know when your individual speeds are lower than your actual plan, but try doing a powercycle first
