Need Help with Amping stock Sub. Does any of you awesome vendors know how to amp the stock sub. I've got a 370z and it comes with a Bose sub system in the back of the car.(where the spare tires is at). After a bit of research i found this ----http://www.nissanmurano.org/forums/69-audio-electronics/14286-diy-increasing-improving-output-oem-bose-murano-subwoofer-2.html Since i am horrible with electronics i don't think i can do this. Does anyone recommand this ? or know how to do it ? I don't want THUMBING loudness...just want a bit more kick..maybe 50watts more... |
First off, you are posting in the wrong section. Secondly, yes you can do that. It's just a matter of finding the right wires to cut and connect to the amp you plan on using. I did this before and managed to blow the sub in 10 seconds of use with a mild 50x2 watt amp. :okay: |

Even if you cut the wrong wire, they should be fused and a short will blow the fuse. That being said, there are plenty of instructions online that will tell you the colour code of the harness and which wires to cut and connect to the amp. If you are not sure, you could post in the audio section for help or one of the many car audio sponsors. |
