as for longevity i haven't noticed any issues although i get used to the scent and think its faded but nope still there; as Sonick said it probably depends on the scent |
CK Eternity Summer 2012 is actually quite good. It is a bit 'in your face' at first, but dries down very nicely. Not a 'mature' frag whatsoever, so depends on your style. I also really liked Police's new frag "To Be". Might pick that one up next, I really liked the bottle. Also tried Ferrari Uomo.. now that is a more 'mature' fragrance, and would make a good night time frag in the summer. Only smelled it on the card, will try it on myself next time. |
Just picked this up.. I love Cool Water, but the normal one is too bold and 80's. This one is much more tame, and dries down to a nice citrusy scent http://fashweekly.com/wp-content/upl...7342428829.jpg |

My other favourite on that list would by Eternity & Chrome. |
Just got a sample of Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. I really like it. I use the regular Chanel Sport, but I always find that 1 spray is too little, but 2 is too much..so I always have to hold back on the second spray. A single spray of the Chanel Sport Extreme is just right. |

In Sorrento Italy, found a shop that sells so many high end brands for sooo much cheaper than North America. Still expensive though, but damn tempting ($140 for 50ml vs $298 at Holt) . Creed, diptytique, Bois, Tom Ford Private Label. |
Are they legit though? |
Ya they are, came across several ones that have the high end fragrances in the area. Prices in canada b&m are just overpriced, online internationally you can find similar prices. |
I'd never buy from a store that isn't listed on the site as an official reseller... when it comes to stuff like this, it's so easy to just get ripped off. |
^yeah, often times they'll sell you products that have been diluted with water and the strength of the cologne just won't be the same |
Usual wear (something I use on almost daily basis because of price+relatively neutral scent and I actually spend money on) CK One/Be L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Then the occasional ones (usually gifts. I tend to receive easily 3 bottles every birthday): Bleu de Chanel Davidoff Cool Water Un Jardin Apres la Mousson by Hermes Then a boxful of perfumes in my basement of those I simply find disgusting and I use them as deodorant throughout the house |
wanted something refreshing picked this up http://www.creedboutique.com/28-98-t...tain-water.jpg creed silver mountain water quite like it |
Nice man, wish I could afford to spend that much on a bottle of fragrance :ahwow: |
YSL La Nuit.. :sweetjesus: |
Will be picking this up after summer... totally in love with it http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/nd.228.jpg |
^ lol classic. I remember my dad had a bottle in the early 90's. |
Yeah I am all into the 90's stuff... even 80's somewhat. The new stuff all seems so light, and "safe" and "gio" if you know what I mean |
If you really wanna go hardcore old-school and pick up Creed Royal English Leather, made in 1781 designed after the scent of the leather glove of King George III. |
I know right? Always wanted to check out those really old ones, but I have a feeling they have been copied so many times, we'll all recognize the fragrance. Probably smells horrible too :fuckthatshit: |

but with a bottle of cologne I usually divide the price by a year or two (since thats how long it lasts) and im like "hey thats not bad" :) Quote:
Givenchy Gentleman http://www.allaboutperfumes.com/imag..._GENTLEMAN.jpg Its what my dad uses, Givenchy doesn't make it anymore but you can still find the odd bottle on ebay from collectors/shops that stored some bottles away for a rainy day you can also find a lot of imitation/counterfeit bottles (i think they're simply licensed and not actually counterfeit) that don't smell as strong as the original but its close In the original there's a strong smell of cat piss (civet) later bottles and the subsequent not from Givenchy bottles cut the Civet down or out entirely though smells great imo but hard to find and if i find any it goes to my dad ;) Top Notes Tarragon, Cinnamon. Middle Notes Patchouli, Vetiver Base Notes Civet, Russian Leather Or for something current that is close to Gentleman you can get Bond no. 9 H.O.T. but the Civet is nixed http://www.bondno9.com/images/photos...jpg?1222326160 sorry went off on a bit of a tangent ;) but i always recommend that when someone says they like scents around that gen :D |
Interesting, I really like vetiver, and patchouli, and leather base notes. Never have experienced a civet note though, as far as I know. Should be good, most animalistic notes are IMO |
I wanted bond no 9.. untill i saw it was 200$ lol |
