No more Windows LG phone?

LG has no future plans for Windows Phone devices - GSMArena.com news

LG is dropping from the Windows Phone race and has no plans to release any gadgets of that kind. The decision is not final, of course, and LG will continue its partnership with Microsoft.

not a surprise

windows phones aren't selling like at all

at least they havent been until the Nokia Lumias which are basically selling for a loss considering all the money they're (msft, nokia, att) putting into promotions

even then lumia "sales" aren't doing well anywhere other than the States and that's just speculation/rumors since there wont be any real numbers until Q2

Windows Phone is beautiful, but it's a case of too little, too late. They should have had an app market before Android hit it big.

i never liked windows phones something about them just piss me off (one being not app market), other is the fact they can run smoothly for me (maybe its just me not sure about the rest of you)

this was on the window6 mobile

I actually really like the OS...I think it's got polish that Android doesn't...not quite on par with the iPhone but also offers flexibility that the iPhone doesn't. It has a niche in the market but it isn't going anywhere...no one wants to buy it and if no one buys it, none of the unique features are useful so they got a rush of initial buyers but everyone has tapered off and gone back to the other two platforms.
