nobody wants to thank you? i'll be first.. even though i don't have XM radio. good find!

Lomac 05-01-2012 05:16 PM

Damn. Maybe it's worth hooking my old Sirius radio back up since I'm planning on doing a bunch of driving in the interior this summer.

Thanks :D

my 1 year trial just ended sunday, where might I find that code though?

or would they accept a VIN number maybe

tiger_handheld 05-01-2012 06:31 PM

^ They can do by VIN. On a mazda 3 - there is button that says "DISP ESN" press and hold for 3secs, and use the scroll button to find last 4 digits.

If they ask you if you have subscribed before - say NO and it's a pre-owned that you bought 1mo ago :)

Gh0stRider 05-01-2012 06:38 PM

how long is this promo for? 6 months?

mb_ 05-01-2012 07:24 PM

Time to make use of my radios built in XM.. :megusta:

Not sure if Cruze's radio is THAT different from a Cobalt but I found my ESN by going to channel 0

Edit: Just activated mine, it's good until AUGUST 1ST

Edit 2: Just tested it out, works perfectly :awwyeah:

1990TSI 05-02-2012 02:41 PM

thanks for the heads up. I had to add a ton of albums to my fast and furious 5 usb card when my free trail ran out, 3 more months will be the right amount, cuz fuck paying $100/year for it

Hondaracer 05-02-2012 04:00 PM

this shit isnt even worth signing up for imo, satellite radio is garbage, even the talk radio is bad..

My sirius setup somehow seemingly has an unlimited subscription, or they just cant cancel my service once it was initialized because i cancelled it like 2 years ago and it still works today, its sitting in my closet though

Harvey Specter 05-02-2012 04:50 PM

Thanks! Just signed up today.

belaud 05-02-2012 05:00 PM

My stock XM radio is garbage, has little to no signal :okay:

My gf's sister has unlimited free subscription, I'm so jealous.
She got her Lexus brand new, she was suppose to get 3 months free trial...but that trial never came to an end :okay:

I pay for mine, I believe it's worth it.
XM is way better than regular radio stations. I don't pirate songs from the internet anymore.

mmmk 05-02-2012 05:06 PM

Does anyone know if I can use the PROMO code on the website...planning to get this on my gf's car.

Nope, I tired on the site and it doesn't give you an option for 3 months. Best to call in, it only takes 5 minutes or so for the CSR to get the free promo up and running.

Once you call in and activate, online and iphone app will work. The default pwd and username is the phone number you give during registration.

Update: Called in to cancel my subscription. Waited on hold for 20mins to talk to Customer Retentions - they ended up offering me 6 more months for $35 taxes in. That works out to roughly $5/month (reg price is $20/mo).

Today is the last day for promo code REFUEL!

Iceman-19 07-31-2012 09:27 AM

I have the ESN number from my factory head unit, but I have since installed an indash navi setup. Do I use the old number or what?

Lomac 07-31-2012 09:28 AM

Tried to renew it but my antennae for the radio has gone missing. :(

Iceman-19 07-31-2012 09:44 AM

Actually, just found an ESN for the Sirius adapter that was installed with my new head unit, I assume that's the one I use?

Gh0stRider 07-31-2012 09:55 AM
