Super Great Pizza at Joyce Station - $2/slice now!

This was one of my favorite pizza places, and it used to be an okay deal at $1/slice. But then it became $1.25. Then $1.50 + tax. Now it's $2?! Wtf do they think they are, Flying Slice?! Totally insane.

InvisibleSoul 05-07-2012 02:22 PM

Pretty much every pizza-by-the-slice place is at least $1.75 now.

FM Classic might be the bang for your buck. Some slices are $1.50, some are $1.75, but it's 1/6th of a large pie.

LsquareD 05-07-2012 02:32 PM

Joyce pizza + bubble tea and Counter-Strike at Bubble Creations = good ol' highschool days :lol

A$AProcky 05-07-2012 02:33 PM

Its only 50 cents more, chill.

hirevtuner 05-07-2012 03:02 PM

Vansterdam 05-07-2012 03:33 PM

lol fuck that shit :fuckthatshit:

pizzas a total rip off since i grew up on that shit back in the dollar days

i would compare this place to the fresh slice franchise

even fresh slice is only dope when its 1$ tuesday lol

wayyy better pizza places on commercial drive for the same price

keifun 05-07-2012 07:08 PM

I've been hitting up FIRE pizza on commerical dr. instead.

Can't go wrong with 2 slices and pop for $4.50 tax incl.

I remember my first time skipping was with Spugen and we did this.

Then he bent his transfer and tried to use it on the bus but the driver was like :fuckthatshit: and he had to buy a new one.

:lol

SpuGen 05-08-2012 06:01 PM

:(

RabidRat 05-08-2012 08:47 PM

Okay so I went back today (LOL) and realized something.. they're now using a lot more cheese and sausage in their slices, and it might be my imagination but it seems like the slices are now wider too.

I could get used to this..

I remember when I could get a box of 10 pieces of chicken at Church's for $10 (sale) ... now it's like $20+.

Sorry ... wrong thread, this one is about pizza.

Durrann 05-09-2012 07:20 PM

They put a fair amount of TOPPINGS on the pizza, but actually not very much cheese.

I go to FM Classic right next door more often than 2001 Flavours. Completely different style of pizza.

2001 Flavours - Thinner crust, less cheese, more toppings, more dry
FM Classic - Thicker crust, more cheese, fewer toppings, more moist
