How to share files between Mac & PC?

I want to be able to access folders on my PC from my Macbook Pro and be able to delete and move files around. Is there a program I can use?

My PC is hardwired and my Macbook is using wifi both from the same router.

Thanks.

Vica versa for pc to mac

If your not in a rush setup dropbox or google drive for small documents and videos

Share a folder on the PC. Then your Mac will be able to access it. Go to Finder > Click on the Go pull-down menu > Select Connect to Server. Then type in:

smb://servername/sharename

servername is your computer's name or IP address
sharename is whatever you called your share

You can also browse for it in your finder. It'll be under Shared, and you should see your PC in there. When you click on it, you should see your share.

EDIT: look at the video above. bingo.

I fucking hate networking with my Macs ... Even with static IP addresses for every piece of equipment I own (and the obvious firewall exceptions, etc.), they randomly fail to find other devices on the network. And, by random, I mean they'll work one day and, without touching a single setting on anything, they won't work the next.

Will Dropbox work for Mac? That might be a fast/easy way.

^It does. But that defeats the purpose of networking since you have to upload everything and not having it locally.
