Greek neonazi leader gives Hitler-style speech after the elections |
ugh. |
The only thing I found odd was when the guy asked everyone to stand. Other than that it seems like he is just going on a rant. I don't really see the connection to Hitler other than their logo http://www.cbc.ca/gfx/images/news/ph...n-cp-02604.jpg Unless I missed something he didn't really say anything racist.. or anything that would make me think he's a neonazi? |

Their "normal" politicians failed so hard, I don't blame them for believing in this maniac. |
All it ever takes is someone standing up saying "we are better than this" and "blame these guys" at the right time. In Greece, and to an extent, France, now is the right time. |

Hitler never launched into his racist shit in the beginning...his movement started out with what Gridlock quoted above. Hitler was all about political change...standing up against the gov't and wanting to create something new........then he took a drink from the crazy kool-aid bowl and went batshit crazy racist. |
i dont see anything similar to hitler, but whatev's |

It wasn't for awhile that he truly made public that he placed the blame on the Jews. I mean, you could have read his book... |
And let's be clear...nazi, or more formal, facism as a an angle of socialism does not equal "racist" in the definition of the word. It's a system of government, not a racial belief. There are a lot of people that equate the two, but they are, to me, two distinct items wrapped together by time, place and people. The nazi's had a racist angle(I struggle with a word to use to describe the extremity of this belief) in their philosophies, yes, but at the core it was a system of government that resembles a hard line socialist agenda. |
lol pasok and neo democratia can't even form a coalition, because they don't have a house majority. The greek citizens are getting desprate because the two parties above caused one of the biggest fuckups in history. They want out of the EU and the country was beings old to the germans. FFS they had to sell the government buildings then lease them from the germans FFS in part of the bailout agreement. Greece is being divided now by extreme left and extreme right parties. Both against anti-austerity measures. |
Whoa what's with all this intellectual speak. This isn't the revscene I enjoy.... |

Just imagine if EU steps out, the economy will fall. Money will depreciate. Shit will hit the fan. |
Greece should have never entered the EU. I lived there when it was being voted in. It was like 55% in favour. Barely got by. The next time I returned to greece a coke went from 30 cents to 2 euors. |
thats one of the things i dont like about a universal currency. it only benefits people that are paying thru the nose as it is... people that can buy stuff cheap get the shaft when all the pricing gets normalized. |
