RIP Maurice Sendak My parents read Where The Wild Things Are to me when I was a very young boy, despite its reputation as being too "scary" and "grim" for children. It made me brave enough to explore my own imagination and creativity to this very day. Rest in peace, Mr. Sendak, you were a special man. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/05/09/bo...ies-at-83.html |
His interview with Colbert recently was awesome, hilarious, I think it might have been his last interview too. Youtube pulled the videos for copyright but are on comedynetwork.ca Part 1 http://watch.thecomedynetwork.ca/the...ort#clip612322 Part 2 http://watch.thecomedynetwork.ca/the...ort#clip612330 |
