Sony XNV 660bt double din

Does anyone know if this unit plays burn dvds? I wanted to burn some music videos and play them. I tried googling the answer but nothing came up. I notice today that when I am listening to music with my ipod hooked up, every once and awhile I will hear 2 beeps and then volume goes down a bit and goes back to normal. What would that be?

What format are you burning in? Many older decks could only play the DVD format. DiVX or AVi used to be an issue.

As for the volume doing it's own thing, it could be that the steering wheel controls are having issues, if you indeed have steering wheel controls?

The real issue is that Sony has been trading on it's once wonderful name brand. They are like the girl next door that for some reason turned into a dirty little crack whore that nobody can trust anymore. They just want your money.

I didnt get the steering controls hooked up. So it could be the cd player itself?

I havent burnt any music videos yet because I didnt want to go out and buy some blank dvds and burn them if it doesnt work.
