The shame with huge movies like this is that they really get over hyped, and you go in expecting so much. Same deal with TDKR. It really is very good though. And Berenice Marlohe..mmmmmm.

I watched, thought it was awesome. If anyone really wants to watch it and its sold out, just get front row tickets at VIP .. first time sitting in the recliners + watching skyfall .. not half bad TBH. Tons of suspense, totally lost myself in the movie. When it ended it seemed like I had been sitting there for 5 minutes .. wanted moooaar.

I watched the 3:50pm showing today
thought it was the best of the 3 Daniel Craig bond movies.

Skyfall > Casino Royale> Quantum Solace

Just a heads up, at BestBuy Metrotown, we have a movie endcap filled with $10 Bond blurays. Comes with a $10 credit code towards seeing Skyfall! Will be grabbing some tomorrow

There were a few scenes of the DB5 rolling through the Scottish countryside..was epic. So much wallpaper potential.

His response:

Saw the movie tonight at the AVX theatre in Colossus. Gotta say, I prefer the AVX over the normal screening rooms. Sooo much nicer.

As for the movie, I thought it was good. Wouldn't say it was the best Bond film ever, but it's definitely up there. It was about 15 minutes too long, though. A couple thoughts of the movie itself:

This is a very good review of the film without giving away too much. The reviewer knows what he's talking about and has clearly seen many of the older Bond movies.

What drugs are you on?

This is definitely in the top 5 of Bond films of all time and Sam Mendes deserves to be nominated for an Oscar.

When I saw that Aston Martin in Skyfall, I nearly cried. Epic. Only those who watched Goldfinger understand.

Very good movie, glad I sprung for the VIP seats.

Did find the movie was getting hyped a bit too much, but still a great Bond movie.

Personally, I think Casino Royale was a BIT better movie as a whole, but really, I'm just splitting hairs here. Do yourself a favour, and go see this one in theaters.

...and that Aston... just wow They could have just shown him driving around for an hour and I'd have been fine with it lol

You guys are all on crack. i won't say it is one of the worst, but it is one of the most boring and unoriginal Bond films I've seen in a long time. Casino Royale is still the best Craig Bond movie, aside from the hour-long poker scene.

TL;DR, but here is my lengthy review of why it's so terrible. Hopefully some of you will see the light.

Spoiler!
