Is it possible to get the "toy" like pictures without the Tilt-Shift lens? I was just wondering because Ive seen a lot of pictures that look like lego toys, which requires the tilt-shift lens... is it even possible to achieve this with a reg lens? I have the Canon Rebel XT (350D)with the stock lens (18-55mm) and a zoom lens (55-250mm 1:4-5.6 IS) How much is the tilt-shift lens? FYI, im only a novice/amateur photographer... So spending $$$$$$ on camera equipment is out of the question.. |
you could photoshop a tilt shift affect if im not mistaken |
is it a seperate plugin for PS or does it include it already? |
tiltshiftmaker.com - Transform your photos into tilt-shift style miniatures make sure you use pictures that have a high point of view looking down onto things. otherwise the effect is not good. Here's a couple of mine: [https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net..._4178416_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net..._2027188_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...1_622143_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net..._3711605_n.jpg |

Or use instagram :fullofwin: |
Tilt shift lenses are $1,500+, so if all you want to do is the miniature effect, then using software is the best way to go. |
