i'm sure it includes wifi...i'm going to assume that any laptops/portable devices that come out is going to have it built in. Its definitely a good buy for 299

Cool. I know a few people looking for a laptop.

twitchyzero 05-21-2012 03:48 PM

futureshop's regular price for the refurb is only $350 though...still, good deal. Still stock at FS

processor wise it should be fine, but HD 3000 integrated graphics, you might have to put it on lower settings.

Rather go for this if your gonna be using plainly for d3

I'm looking for a laptop to just play D3 also.
Might pick this up but does anyone have experience with refurbished laptops?

!SG 05-21-2012 07:36 PM

i find my i5 8g toshiba has to have the graphics dumb down to play d3.

it comes down to the shared mem for the graphics card, 1.7G shared doesnt cut it,

i bought a HP refurb netbook from FS and it was a refurb by HP with 1 year manufacturer's warranty. had no problems with it. i don't know if the store can refurb it and sell it back out on its own but if they can i wouldn't trust them. that's my own opinion anyway.

murd0c 05-21-2012 08:59 PM

My desktop is a refurb and I have had it for 5yrs with no issues at all.

I ordered this laptop this morning as my old one is about to take a crap on me. I was planning to see if I can also play d3 on it. I guess I'll find out when it gets here how well it'll handle it.

For the price, it was gonna be my school laptop anyways.

qoopoo 05-21-2012 09:15 PM

apparently the intel ones you can install OSX on it.

GGnoRE 05-21-2012 09:35 PM

My family bought two lenovo ideapads and both turned out "faulty" within a year. On one of them, the ac adapter port broke inside the laptop (never inflicted any physical harm to it), the other laptop started flickering its screen after 6 months (again, no physical damage). The lenovo thinkpads (originally IBM) are reliable laptops but other than that, I don't have much faith in lenovo laptops. For the price of 300 you can't complain but I am just pointing out my experience as this is a refurbished (was already faulty once) laptop.

Sorry to the OP if I am hindering your sale of this laptop.

Hmm...I'm contemplating between these 2 laptops. I like the i3 but the B575 has a better video card. Gonna use it for basic browsing and games like Diablo 3 and Dota 2(when it comes out).
