parking ebrake self adjusting?

Long story short I had someone change my rotors and pads and he said that the ebrakes are self adjusting and it should adjust itself. But it has been like 1 week now and it seems like I still have no parking brakes...

My question is, he told me that I should try this

go on REVERSE and slam on the ebrake..anyone hear of this?

If you had drums yes that is how they self adjust. Disks do not adjust that way and niether does ebrakes. Your cables are probably stretched and need to be tightend

no they are disc brakes all around..
could it be that the parking brakes are worn out?
