yea hockey is first and foremost a skill sport, so it makes sense

NA hockey is more tilted towards grit with regards to finesse
european more towards finesse
anyways, JS having a strong bench probably indicates he would be strong in other facets as well. squat, deadlift. ---> no doubt core strength
definitely an asset, esp for someone 5'9
benching is more of a bro lift though i do agree lol
