Finally, the Hawks get a goal past Rask after 63 shots. Boston is screwed for game 2. They're gonna drag their tired bodies back into the Madhouse.

This was much more entertaining than Dallas/Vancouver in 2006..
I was there..for the entire thing...but that was 2006 AV Hockey hha

Short term wise, Torts will be okay, long term wise, no thanks

Wouldn't be surprised if he would start alienating certain players/kicking them to the curb after a season or two, lots of players will be scared of him which might be good I guess..

He isn't shy to bench, or call players out who are sucking balls though

Canucks post game interviews between the coach and reporters would be much more interesting if the ESPN report about Torts is true.
If any reporter dares to ask Torts a stupid question, he will give him an earful
of $&@!. It would be Torts and Larry Brooks, Vancouver edition.

I don't see Torts as our coach happening. Doesn't seem to mesh with Gillis' philosphies and he's awful with the media, as we saw with NYR. The Aquilini's and Gillis care much about the Canucks brand, and I don't see Torts being a good representation of that. Looks like Ruff interviewed yesterday, do not want him either.
