Rim scrape! Help

hey guys a while ago i was washing my car and noticed this huge scrape on my brand new rims. i was depressed for a month, :okay: don't even now when i did it. Anyways its been getting worse and worse, its starting to spread and go black and this really nasty whitish color. is there anything cheap or expensive i can do to prevent it from getting anyworse? i was thinking of polishing it with autogylm super resin, but thats for paint!? lol

heres a video;

Not too sure what you mean when you say "its starting to spread and go black and this really nasty whitish color". The pic you loaded makes it look like curb rash, so I'm assuming you should stop hitting curbs? There is no real quick fix to damaged rims. You need to get it re-finished/resurfaced. Lots of D.I.Y Articles on the net.

Fail at posting links

refinish the rim

Nvasion 06-28-2012 09:26 PM

just refinish the rim

/end

Take your rim to Green's or Nu-brite, they'll fix it.
