Machine shop rates

So I've got a 2.4L 4 cyl Mitsu engine that I completely stripped and I want to know what are some good machine shops around town and what sort of price estimate can I expect from them?
Things I'd like to get done on my engine are: hot tank clean, deck & machine (if necessary), hone, replace frost plugs, check for cracks, polish crankshaft, deck the head, check valve seats, check valve guides.
How much should I expect to pay for all that?

why don't you call the sponsors we have that have shops and explain to them what you just said and let them give you a quote? lol

well for fucks sakes, I did phone a few shops but I want to know from the people that have experience with this sort of matter if $1500 is a reasonable amount for the work i'm asking for and which machine shops I can trust.
