Get smashed downtown and drunkenly sing the canadian anthem on granville street. But if it's raining I'll be watching movies and drinking tea.

cliffhanger33 07-01-2012 10:55 AM

Any suggestions on what to do today??

And where will fireworks be tonight? And what time

punkwax 07-01-2012 11:57 AM

Cloverdale Fairgrounds is muddy as hell by the rides. If you're planning to go, bring boots.

mb_ 07-01-2012 12:17 PM

For people who have no plans tonight... down for a mini-meet?! :accepted:

Muay-thai 07-01-2012 01:04 PM

I believe the fireworks can be seen at Stanley Park along the seawall facing Canada Place.

It's such a hassle getting out afterwards--- be ready for massive traffic congestion

HonestTea 07-01-2012 04:25 PM

Where are the fireworks happening? At Canada place?

jing 07-01-2012 05:39 PM

Wallet slipped out of my pocket and no one has turned it in... this Canada Day blows

Anyday would blow if that happened........

Everytime I leave a place or get up, I say to myself, "Keys, phone, wallet, keys, phone, wallet." Then I check my pocket for the iPod that has my life on it. I always frisk myself for these things. Looks hella funny, but whatever...........

good luck to you

yogenfruz 07-01-2012 07:54 PM

I do the same thing MG1, and I'm always checking to make sure I have my wallet, especially if I'm gonna be somewhere really crowded.

MG1 07-01-2012 07:57 PM

^ yeah, but do you grab your crotch, too?

I look like a third base coach giving signals, LOL

jing 07-01-2012 07:59 PM

I felt something missing about a minute after I had stood up and left... ran back to where I was sitting and someone had already taken it. Seems like everytime there's a stat holiday something goes wrong.. labour day last year I woke up to see my car had been stolen #firstworldproblems

BaoTurbo 07-01-2012 08:16 PM

Whos going to fireworks? Did some research and Stanley park or Coal Habor you can watch it
