Why in the fuck are you guys telling the man to buy an FT86/STI in the poll, those two are the least suited for his needs in a cramped city, where his car won't even be able to go faster then intended!

LoL.... It's okay, bud. I don't deny that I want to get a fast car too but it's a totally different purpose. I currently drive a Nissan Juke 1.5L non-turbo and it's freaking slow. It does not go above 120km/h on a level road, forget accelerating in uphill roads. However, it's really good in gas. I have 150 kms and only consume less than a quarter (maybe only 1/8 of the tank) in mostly highway drive, of course.

I saw the new camry and it's a nice looking car. Does anyone know how long will the battery in a hybrid car last?

Edit: I am researching about hybrid car maintenance and I found that many hybrid owners thinking to switch to gas car for the next one because of a costly battery replacement. But some will continue going hybrid. I actually wonder if my fuel efficiency will pay-off the premium cost that I paid with say 3-5 years usage of the car and assuming it will sell the same with the gas engine camry. So I'm paying $10K to save my gas.

Having driven the FR-S, I probably won't drive it in a city congested with bikes. Blindspots could potentially be a problem, and I am assuming the roads there aren't as nice as most '1st world countries.' You will be heavily penalized in ride quality.

Is the C200 the diesel engine, or the 1.8T? I'd take the Camry or maybe a CT200h (they're both within the same price range in HK, not sure if that's how it works there..)

The individual cells on the Camry/Prius can be replaced. They're NiMH, not LiON, so they're much more cost effective to replace. Those who are saying 'batt will be toast/super expensive to replace' are full of s*it.

Traffic jam is horrible in Hong Kong as well. I've driven differnet types of car in city like yours, a car like Camry Hybrid is the only thing you need.

2dr Sport cars - very difficult to cut lanes.
3 series - you feel tired turning the steering wheel
C class - interior space is small
STi - unless you keep it stock
Large size 7seats mini van - it is as comfy as the camry hybrid, except the gas price.

Judging by your needs.. Camry, hands down.
