Beach, anyone?
 

So this weekend is supposed to be stupid hot, and I've been thinking it's time to get the Mini-Mutts back to the beach... fortunately low tide closely coincides with the end of Groucho's nosework class (about 2:30pm), so we're thinking of hitting East Beach for a little romp in the sand and ocean! Anyone want to come join the fun??

"East Beach" is part of the native land on the east end of White Rock, so there's TONS AND TONS of areas where dogs are allowed to run free on the sand. If you know where the Washington Avenue Grill is, there's a parking lot right behind that where you can park (something like $6 for the day - dirt cheap), then head through the fence and up over the tracks, and onto the beach.

Okay, looks like we might be going Sunday rather than Saturday... same time, same place. Either day should be fantastic for it!

I wish I could bring the big guy out, we have to socialize him pretty slowly though. He's had next to no interaction almost his whole short (1yr) life, being tied to a post in someones back yard. First day in his new home with us though and he's adapting quickly.:) Planning on bringing him to the summer meet.

I may stop by as well! My little guy needs to be more social. Plus, he just had fresh vaccinations yesterday! :fullofwin:

Hope to see Charlie there... we'll be aiming for around 2pm, just before low tide. It'll be hard to miss these three!

Won't be able to make it out today, unfortunately! Charlie cut himself earlier and will be stuck at home for the day. :(

Charlie and I would love to go, but he was just snipped two days ago, so we're out of the fun stuff for a couple weeks

We're planning on heading out there tomorrow morning... figure to hit the road by 10:30 or 11, so we should be there by 11:30. Low tide is around 1:30, so it'll still be on its way out at that point.

Running a bit late. Had to wait around for a guy from Craigslist who never showed up. We're just picking up some food and we'll be right there.
