HELP! 60D autofocus not working! I just purchased a Tamron 24-70 f2.8, tried it on my 60D and noticed the autofocus isn't working. At first I thought it was the lens so i swapped it out and the same thing happened with my Canon 10-22. I did a sensor clean, cleaned the electrical contact, firmware update, removed battery and SD card. nothing worked. I tried it on full auto mode (green rectangle) and the autofocus work with flash burst. Any suggestions and/or guidance? I have to do a shoot this Thursday and this is the only body I have =(, if not I would have to rent one unfortunately. Thanks in advance! |
Has anyone else used your camera? Any chance the focus control was swapped to another button in the custom functions? |
Are your lenses on auto focus, or manual? Let's start at step one. |
Is it not focusing period? or is the focus confirmation light not coming on? like do the images come out out of focus? I know the canon 10-22mm is only auto, so that shouldn't be the problem. |

I did set AF-on as my autofocus start so it still works, but I think my half pressed shutter function isn't working anymore even as I tried to set it as other function. For the time being I'll be fine as I'll start and set auto focus using the back buttons. Thanks for all the help! |
I have a Nikon but cant you reset the settings and what not? |
