REVscene Automotive Forum - FS: 1991 Honda Civic Si

I've had the car for roughly a year now, bought the shell which had been stored in a heated garage for 2 years(no rust). When I got it, I swapped a b16 in and have been driving it since mid September 2011. I haven't passed Aircare yet. But came very close( HC's too high). Shouldn't be much to pass, i'm just too lazy. Shell has over 250xxxkms. Clean title. No leaks. I change the oil every 5 weeks or 3000kms(5w30 Penzoil+Honda Filter). Oil is always clean when its being changed :). Does not burn oil or blow blue. Motor runs strong(unknown mileage but I wouldn't guess more than 170-180xxx kms). Absolutely nothing wrong with the car mechanically or visually.

Now I decided to break down the rough cost of parts on the car cause it sucks loosing money+hard work put into the car. The list of mods done are below, parts comes up to a total of roughly $7500(including shell) not including the extra $3900 I spent on the 'Optional Parts'. So I spent over 10k on this project. Im not expecting to get much of that back but we'll see what happens. I will try to make more of an effort to get it through Aircare before sale also but if not we can always work something out. The car isnt perfect but i would replace the carpet and maybe get all the dings out and maybe a wet sand/polish and it should be near mint. I honestly think my final price is fair but if you don't then that's okay cause nobody's forcing you to buy it, i'm pretty firm on the price and not really in a rush to sell.

New found issues:

08/21/12: There's a rattle in the muffler that just started making noise @ lower rpm's and the passenger side inner axle boot is ripped.

09/04/12: Sticky gas pedal, tb might need cleaning- fixed

10/11/12: #8 fuse(15a fuse for cluster/tailights/licence plate lights) keeps blowing, my guess is a wire is grounding out some where, ill try to figure out whats wrong and keep you guys posted. - fixed
