Does anyone here have Apple TV

I dont see any threads about Apple TV here. Does anyone have it here? I love my Apple TV. By far the best thing I have ever purchased.

With Mega Up Load shut down. I think Apple TV is kinda useless now.

3rd gen users have to wait
Go to Redmondpie.com for more info

bluejays 08-22-2012 07:11 PM

Yeah only the 1st and 2nd gen can be jailbroken at the moment

I love mine too. It's a bit clumsy for pirated movies. I have an Apple TV and a WD tv next to each other.

Apple TV for netflix, renting movies, music.
WDTV for watching all my movies on a usb drive.

I know you can jailbreak/xbmc but I'm too lazy :)

I use mine every day, can't imagine living without it

blue_reverb 10-02-2012 01:04 PM

It does have usb input. Micro usb. Pretty useless unless you jailbreak.

My step dad got it for the sole purpose of using the 60" TV as a monitor for his macbook air to watch movies... seems like some other ppl do that too. Only thing I can't understand is why they would pay $100 for that instead of say $20 for adapter that allows you to plug your macbook into the TV?
