Anyone work for impark??

Any way I can get a parking ticket waved? I work at a hospital and got ticketed because I forgot to pay my stall from rushing...didnt know parking tickets get up to $80 now geez

Wait for the toys for tickets thing where each year they have a day that you can go out an buy a toy and donate it to get 1 ticket waived

AW607 07-20-2012 07:25 AM

Refer to the Diamond Parking thread? I think the most they'll do is call you continuously and send it to a collection agency

i-VTEC 07-20-2012 07:26 AM

They have the toys for ticket every year?or just last year that they had it

LP700-4 07-20-2012 07:27 AM

Been working for Impark since last October.

OP: PM me your licence plate number and house address. I'll look it up on the system when I get to work later this afternoon, and see what I can do for you.

Engotski 07-20-2012 07:39 AM

skylinergtr 07-20-2012 10:27 AM

call them and tell them their machines are not working properly.

their machines actually do crap out a lot.

z3german 07-20-2012 11:53 AM

pay 18 bucks to change your plate, never worry about it again.

svelt 07-20-2012 04:05 PM

I tear up the Diamond/Metro/Insert random lot name tickets and nothing ever happens to me except a couple of ridiculous notices. Credit score is also sky high. I do find Impark lots to be a bit too common to ignore so I would try to work with them to reduce the fine in case I find use for their lots again... but as long as you're 100% sure you're not going to go over time on their lots they won't scan your plate.

I would say suck it up and pay but $80 is ridiculous, they just make up these charges and have no true legal way of getting them. They probably had a model figured out where an x percentage of people would pay at $40 vs $80 and decided $80 just made more money for them.

FerrariEnzo 07-20-2012 11:08 PM

Dont you guys have employee parking or parking permit.. lol

Boostslut 07-20-2012 11:15 PM

Call them up, explain your situation and they might lower the cost of your ticket. Say it was an honest mistake, which hopefully it was.

Iceman-19 07-20-2012 11:45 PM

They won't do fuck all for you. Go get new license plates for $18 bucks.

heero78 07-21-2012 12:18 AM

^.....just dont pay...get a new license plate and u good to go

Engotski 07-21-2012 04:39 PM

So far nothing yet in terms of getting this voided. Will call on monday to see what I can do myself :(

jpark 08-15-2012 11:20 PM

i parked in a dt impark lot, the meter was broken and the security/guard there even told me to not worry about it because the system was down.. and i got a ticket on my window when i got back..

i tried looking for the security guy again waving around my ticket but i couldnt find him, no one was there so i just left.
Now im getting all sorts of letters from these guys.. guess i should call them soon, bunch of idiots

bing 08-15-2012 11:34 PM

I only pay the city ones (i.e. city of Vancouver).

Got a ticket last week at a Impark lot and won't be paying for it either :fuckthatshit:

Nobody's gonna take you to court for $80. You might get a few phone calls and letters that sound threatening (its just hocus pocus) when they try to collect, but after awhile they stop. Buddy had at least a G, if not more in tickets on a car I lent him over a continuous period of a few months, and nothing came out of it that I know of.

Not sure if serious...

Are you gonna steal op's car?

lgman 08-16-2012 02:47 AM

If Diamond parking can do an illegal search for your address and home phone number then I doubt changing plates will work. Didn't for me had ppl calling for 3+ years.

svelt 08-16-2012 11:14 PM

3 years is long. My calls only last a few weeks. How do they decide how persistent they want to be with a person? If you have a cell phone just download a call blocker app or set the number they call from to silent.

It works.

The illegal search of your address and phone number happens after you get a ticket and don't pay.

If you're just being issued a ticket with your new plates the previous outstanding ticket(s) won't show up on the spot.
