Dashboard digital video recorder (Camera)
 

Has anyone mounted a forward facing digital camera? I had a lady reverse into the front of my truck in a BC Ferries parking lot and get out and said I rear ended her. My truck was in PARK. There was no damage so it didnt go anywhere, but had there been, I would have been hard pressed to prove it was actually her that hit me.

I would love to find a camera that mounts to the front side of my rearview mirror that records everything infront of me like a Police car has. I dont want to see it like a GPS style, and I dont really want to have to turn it on everytime. Something somewhat hidden and runs automatically would be ideal.

if you want something cheaper i got the x3000, just type in "dash cam x3000" on youtube and itll show you the review for it, goes for about 80$ on ebay and its pretty decent quality :)

sound like you want something similar to a security camera. correct me if i'm wrong, but you'd need alot of storage for the hours of filming, no?
