Keyboard Problem My keyboard randomly disconnects and won't go on until I disconnect the usb and reconnect. Faulty keyboard or mobo? I switched usb slots and issue still occurs. Keyboard is like 8 years old btw |
Time for new keyboard :) If your other USB slots are working fine , it could be the keyboard. If you plug in other usb devices into the keyboard slot , would it disconnect ? |
did you clean off the keyboard after you "watched" your porn? could be the reason!:) |

Find the usb controller your keyboard uses inside of Device Manager then right click > Properties > Power Management and make sure "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked. |
Try the keyboard on another computer. If it still disconnects, you have your definitive answer. |
