DIY painting a front lip

Hit some road debris today and it knocked loose my front lip a bit. Since I need to take it off anyways, I figure I might as well repaint the thing since it's a bit faded as it's made of poly. Just wondering what type of paint you guys have had success with. Was thinking of just using plastidip or something but it seems like that would peel easily especially since I scrape everywhere.

Lip will be painted black.

TIA

I painted my zenki lip with just black primer and looked good!

plasti dip is quite rugged so a few good coats should do the trick

sand with 600
primer x4 coats
basecoat x4 coats
clearcoat x2 (if gloss finish)

If you're planning to scrape the lip then you should stay away from plastidip, it'll rip for sure.
+1 for black primer if you want a flat black

Black primer looks great as flat black. I did my lip in that, but then changed my mind and decided to paint it body colour, so I redid the primer in grey.

Don't pay attention to my makeshift saw horses thingies :P
