Took my dad's car there, the job was passable. I've gotten a better clean from that automatic one on Terminal, so it was a bit disappointing. Much better than the touchless ones, obviously.

^really? they did an amazing job for me and the 2$ wax was worth the fucking money haha, the automatic one at terminal does clean ur interior...

Took my car in for a wash today, and I must say the results are definitely sub-par. I've been here before and had great results but today's job was pretty sloppy. When the wash was complete, I told the attendant that the rims were still dirty, and that's when he said that they're too dirty and needed an extra chemical detail which would be more time and cost. However, I am able to rub the brake dust off using my finger.

Most likely not coming back after today's experience....

in all fairness, having worked for bmw before, if those are oem brake pads, they cake on. you do need a chemical clean and a 20min soak. might i suggest for your next set of pads, to try akebono ceramics.

Dad just bought a 3 month car wash package for his car today (grey venza), was happy with the quality of the wash as we've been trying out a few different places lately, wheels could've been cleaner but overall did a great job

$194 (For Venza, I imagine something like a civic would be a bit cheaper) IIRC and of course it sticks with the one car, it would be cool if you guys had a deal for ppl with more than one car definitely be interested.

That may be true, but...

Caked-on brake dust is a common problem and any detailing place should be able to take care of it. Are they gonna leave peoples' rims dirty just because they're using OEM pads? $30 not well spent, IMO.

im just saying front wheels on bmw's covered in brake dust is stupid common.

ive had them wash my car, did a pretty decent job, laughed at the poor guy trying to clean my gold flakes...

if im washing my car, i usually spray down the wheels first, let them soak, then continue from top to bottom for the rest of the car, then back to the wheels.

Their pricing is competitive.

For exterior only, it's $15 compared to $19 in a competing hand-wash location (won't mention it here). ANd, you get those stamps for future use.

I went there a few times, and the crew there are usually amiable and the end result is always clean.

They also open an hour later than the afore-mentioned competing hand-car wash company.

Lastly, the location "looks" small due to the entrance off Hazelbridge, but once you turn into the location, it is very spacious. It's more spacious than the competing hand-car wash company I go to. Also, the entire process at Sensha-ya takes place on a 100% flat surface, whereas the competing hand-car wash company has a 25% inclined paved ramp that all customers have to enter through and leave through. This inclined ramp, one would presume, might cause bumper accidents from inexperienced drivers.

Oo I didn't know you could do exterior only for $15, now I am more inclined to go lol

FerrariEnzo 03-02-2013 03:51 AM

$15 for exterior is a good price.. I didnt know they offered that...

This is the only place I take my car to wash and vacuum now. They do excellent work at a great price. Even when there's a long line of cars they are very efficient in getting it done.
