SD Card Data Recovery?

Part of my trip photos are deleted from my SD card. To make matters more complicated, I accidentially shot the photos in raw 2 file format (.rw2)

Can anyone help me to recover the deleted photos? Willing to pay reasonable amount of $$$ for your time. There should be about 80-100 photos in rw2 format.

:(

I've had success with this company: Data Recovery Software to Undelete Files; Disk recovery; Recover Deleted Files
You can download the software for free. It will show you what files it can see. If it lists your deleted files, then you can pay for the license and get your files back.

I tried to use an old SD reader to access an SDXD and it messed up my card (Windows would ask me if I want to reformat the card; my camera wouldn't recognize the card)

I googled for 'memory card file recovery tool' and I used the first available freeware and it worked. I'll look for the name of the app when I get home.

Try some HD recovery software first. When you delete something it does not get deleted.

I used "GetDataBack for FAT" at work. Success rate for a simple SD card accidental format is very very high.

don't copy/add additional files to your SD card until you run the data recover program(s) like others said. it may overwrite a sector you want to recover.

If you want to get someone to recover these files for you you are probably looking at a decent amount of coins... Here is the company recommended by Sandisk. I paid $225 for a 16gb sd card recovery, return freight included. Mind you, my issue was sd card being unrecognizable, cannot even be formatted.

Thanks for the quick help! The above product worked to recover 194 photos. :ahwow:

I bought a license to Recover My Photos which cost $40 USD.
