Help: iPhone autocorrect replaces "Rob" with "Ron" Can someone help me with this? My boss told me today that his iPhone 4S keeps changing his name from "Rob" to "Ron". I've looked in the keyboard settings to see if something can be changed in the autocorrect settings but didn't find anything. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get the iPhone to stop changing "Rob" to "Ron"? Is there an "add to dictionary" function in the iPhone like there is in Word? Would call the Apple store but they're not open right now; will call them later this morning. Thanks, Jimmy |
Why does he need to type his own name? The N and the B are beside each other so it's probably an issue of fat fingering. I think the iphone dictionary learns as it goes but for it to do that he'd have to type Rob correctly. |

Notwithstanding that the N and the B are right next to each other, let's rule out that this is not an issue of fat fingering. |
everytime it tries, click the 'x' eventually itll stop |
The point of a signature is to have it automatically added at the end of an email. Not to type it out each time. I use an iPhone for work and I've pretty much never had to type my name out. Just saying. Smoothie should be right. Eventually the iphone should learn the change. |
