experience with cheap chinese phone
 

so my mom broke her phone again. I'm looking to get her a cheap chinese phones. The ones with a gazillion functions. Just wondering if anybody ever use one, does it last? or an i just better off beting a cheap dumb samsung lg or something for her?

if smartphone, get her a 5.0" screen android phone, she will love it.

Chinese phones in the old day will not last longer than 1/2 year. Nowaday it's much better in terms of reliable, however you still can't have google play installed in most android product.

Those cheap android phones are garbage, don't bother. Just get her a solid Nokia or Samsung dumb phone and she'll be fine

my huawei andriod smart phone is full of shit, i cant even slide to unlock my phone when its in charge & it eats battaries like there no tomorrow (if i leave my phone on while sleeping im pretty damn sure that when i wake up there gonna be none for the day)

nothing works & everything lags, this is how bad it is & after putting my old 2g sd card then installing a few more apps (like flash & heywire) my phone browser would crash MORE often then before

do not go for huawei its full shit & only reason i got it cuz it was a free company phone, heck its not even real andriod (in my eyes) as it dun even have market place

i dun trust those china osx smarts that give u free stuff when u buy there phones, those gay & useless as a co-worker bought one (since it was cheap) then after a month screen just went blank period

The only one I'd consider is a Meizu. Unless she uses the internet a lot on her phone there's no point to get her a smartphone. Regardless of how many features it has.
