nexus 7 vs touchpad vs galaxy tab 10.1 vs xoom vs ipad 2 vs tf101 what would you get nexus 7 hands down got a lot of raving review but I prefer 10 inch form factor ipad 2 prices is on the high range, unless I can get good condition ipad 2 for $250 - 300 I might bite. I am kicking my self not getting fry's ipad 2 32GB sale for $339 a couple weeks ago and I was visiting seattle a few weeks after the sale where I could've order on line and pick it up a week later tf101 is pretty decent, lots for sale in craigslist , OEM keyboard dock looks cool and really useful from what I seeing so far I am not sure how usable it is Does TF101 has wifi issues ?? tf101 has stock jelly bean too if I am not mistaken touchpad is pretty much not getting anywhere with android, it has camera and other issues. the downside probably forcing me to switch between webos and android constantly (seems like a pain to do). If I can get a realy good deal I think I will bite on touchpad xoom seems pretty slow in XDA not so much progress in jelly bean development galaxy tab 10.1 ?? any reviews? will this device get jelly bean? what's your take? thanks! Craigslist's price Touchpad $150 galaxy tab 10.1 $250 Galaxy tab 2 10.1 $350 TF101 $250 - $300 expensive xoom $300 - $400 TF201 $400 500 TF300 $400 500 ipad2 $350 - $400 |
I got an iPad 2, its a really full device meaning basically there's an app for all your needs. However there's no customization ability, meaning you get what you see. I don't think the iPad 2 needs to be customizable anyways because its not a laptop. However i did feel the iOS was annoying so I sold my iPhone and bought an android phone. in the end its all up to you and how you feel about the OS. i also have the blackberry playbook, does not get much use other than for streaming videos to my hdtv. |
Xoom is a Google experience device. It's usually one of the very first to get updated. It currently has Jellybean. Galaxy tab would be the slowest to receive updates due to their customization to the os. Tf101 has no wireless issues that I'm aware of. It should be getting Jellybean soon. |
I wouldn't recommend the touchpad just solely based on its weight. Its not a very ergonomically designed device to be held with 2 hands. Umm, CM10 (Jelly Bean) will be released on the touchpad shortly, so I don't know what you mean by not getting anywhere. |
