US debt is divided very near evenly 50/50 between foreign and domestic holders.

China and Japan hold about 10% each.

Yeah Im personally lending Monsanto 43 billion dollars.
Wrong, the creditors are the guys who setup the district of columbia.

Rows and Rows of mega buildings worth of $100 bills... that is a crazy amount of money. Now show me the pile in $5's!

A part of the puzzle on what entities the American people, and their future ancestors, will have to pay all that cash to is shown in this series. La Lawman

Blows my mind when you see those visuals, but easy to lose sight of some other neat points.

- A 1/3 of the debt is actually held by other U.S. Governmental agencies (e.g. social security)

-Foreign holders is approx. 30%, with China and Japan having both around 7%

- As a ratio to GDP, currently is is around 70%. It has actually been higher in the past. Britain historically, IIRC, has had around a ratio of 100% and Japan even higher, so on a relative basis, the US is fine :)

I don't worry about the US debt, even if the media likes to make a stink of it. There has been almost 20 instances of the debt ceiling being raised so it seems more of an excuse for politicians to waste time arguing about.

Where are you finding these fiat stats, how could a 7.5 trillion in-debt country like Japan be balancing the books of another 8.7 trillion indebt country like America?

We can basically say private individuals with the most wealth control vast parts of the planet because they lend the money and have control over economies and their independence.

You can all thank fractional reserve banking for the 99%'s misery.

Wake up people.
