The second phone that Xiaomi announced today is the Xiaomi 1S, an update of the Mi-One. It will use a speedier 1.7GHz dual-core processor (Snapdragon S3 chipset), while the rest of the specs are the same as on its predecessor. This one will be priced $235 when it launches on August 23.
why iphone, why s3, why XL one?

Ill stick with a phone from a major manufacturer. Avoiding the headaches of buying a cheap, probably shoddy device, and there will be headaches.

warranty is going to suck balls.

It sucks if you are not living in China, you will have to mail it back.
there will be two carriers in China servicing it, people there simply drop it at the nearest store.

Lenovo, Huawei, ZTE, Meizu, Xiaomi are some big players and have better quality in China nowaday,

specs are good..........

if you like to customize your phone, like custom rom, then it's not a phone you want.
It blocks you from installing bootloader.

SkinnyPupp 08-20-2012 02:53 AM

Sometimes they even block the fucking Google Play store.

ae101 08-20-2012 04:20 AM

FerrariEnzo 08-20-2012 07:22 AM
