Leaving cars outside of garage
 

I was wondering if leaving a car (brand new) overnight outside and not covered in like a garage would damage the car? Some mornings its all frosted over, will that do anything to the paint etc?

don't think it's worse than when the car goes through the shipping process or at dealership lots/compound.

maybe in the 90s, you see cars suffer paint fades and rubber cracks

cars paints still fade, and rubber pieces that aren't treated still crack.

You're going to get a lot of nasty sap on your car if you plan to leave it a long while under trees. It's going to be like trees jizzed all over your ride and you're going to have to clean that up.

Plug in a few heaters and have them blow on the side of your car overnight to prevent that morning frost. Make sure you have more than one heater blowing on all the panels of the car at the same time too, nothing worse than morning frost

you can do what a lot of asian parents do, a tradition passed down from generation. They like to wrap remote controls with saran wrap. I think you should do the same with the car.

I've seen cars with cardboard on their windshields to prevent frosting.. should work with the whole car.

old bed sheets. 400 Thread count & those elastic ones make it 100x easier

Instead of saran wrap I think you should build a garage around the car

What you could do is apply a nice thick coat of wax. But make sure not to buff it off. Leave it in its swirl pattern. The morning dew and frost should just slide right off. When it comes time to sell the car, just pressure wash the wax off. If you don't have one of those an SOS pad should work just the same

go Canadian tire and buy a tent. Or best yet, spray hot water all over your car in the morning to get rid of the frost!
